“Cabbage Rose flower hair pin trios” These small roses from Prima were just so luscious and rustic… They make the perfect pin/clip sets!

I finally found the perfect solution for storing my artist pencils and markers - sort them by color in pen cups! Only, I didn’t have any pen cups and didn’t want to buy any. So I upcycled some out of Pringles chip cans!
Cut standard-size Pringles cans in half (we used a hacksaw) and sand edges. Be sure to save the lid! Each half should be about 4-4.25” tall. (If you use the larger “super stack” size cans, you will need to cut off a bit extra to get the cans at the right height.) Cut a piece of 8.5x11” kraft cardstock in half width-wise; glue the cardstock around each can. Embellish each can with ribbon. (I used color-coordinated ribbon for sorting.)

Simple Celtic Beaded Bookmarks. I had some small Celtic knot pillow box beads, which I made into these easy bookmarks. I used 1/8” ribbon and knotted one Celtic bead and two seed beads on each end, with an approx. 10” open length in the middle. Simple but cute way to use up the beads! It was fun to play with different color combinations of ribbon and seed beads.

I finally figured out what to do with miscellany letter scrapbooking embellishments - glue ‘em on hairpins! Simple and cute. Great gift. Unfortunately the metal/plastic embellishments do not adhere well to alligator-style clips because of the snapping motion, but they work fine on straight bobby pins (as shown).

More flower hairpins. These are made with flowers from the Prima “Essentials - Melody” pack. I like the browns and pinks from this collection, but overall it isn’t my favorite line from Prima. The colors are a bit random.

The perfect thing to do with spare buttons… glue ‘em on a hairpin! The top two pins are made with several buttons layered together. The bottom pin features a button reclaimed from an old purse. I wish I could make more, but I used up all my spare buttons… :)

I made these bookmarks to use up leftover circle beads from the dragon bookmarks. Simple but fun, I think! I made both small (two seed beads and one circle bead on each end) and large (two seed beads and three circle beads on each end) versions. Both bookmarks have an approximately 10” length of ribbon in the middle. The ribbon is 1/8” thick.
